Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

At Manohitha, your health, peace of mind, and confidentiality are held with the highest reverence. This document outlines how we protect your personal information and the principles guiding our therapeutic practice.

Effective Date: October 2026

1. Nature of Services & Therapeutic Scope

Manohitha provides holistic care combining classical Indian Ayurveda and Indian music therapy under the guidance of Dr. Akshatha Varun.

Our consultations, personalized wellness plans, and sound therapy sessions are complementary practices designed to support your physiological harmony, nervous system relaxation, and emotional well-being.

Please Note: Our holistic services are supportive and restorative in nature. They do not replace emergency medical treatment, hospital intensive care, surgery, or crisis psychiatric services. If you or a family member is experiencing an acute medical emergency, please contact your nearest hospital or emergency services immediately.

2. Information We Collect

When you initiate contact, submit a consultation request, or participate in therapy sessions, we collect only the necessary information required to understand your needs and deliver thoughtful, personalized care:

  • Contact Information: Your full name, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Scheduling Preferences: Preferred dates, convenient time windows, and time zones.
  • Focus Area & Health Context: The session focus chosen (Ayurveda, adult music therapy, or pediatric music therapy for specially abled children) and any context you choose to share in your inquiry.
  • Session Notes: Contextual clinical observations recorded solely to track therapeutic progress across consultations.

3. Confidentiality & Information Protection

Your information is treated with strict professional discretion and confidentiality. We use the details you provide exclusively to:

  • Evaluate your inquiry and recommend appropriate session structures.
  • Coordinate appointment times, virtual links, and session reminders.
  • Provide individualized Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
  • Conduct personalized music therapy protocols and monitor developmental well-being.

All client records and scheduling data are maintained securely within private, access-restricted administrative systems. We never sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your personal details to third-party marketing networks, data brokers, or advertisers.

4. Online Consultations & Telehealth Care

To ensure care is accessible without borders, our primary consultations and music therapy sessions are conducted online worldwide via private, encrypted video and audio channels.

To preserve the therapeutic atmosphere and protect your personal privacy, we encourage clients to participate from a quiet, private, and comfortable environment free from interruptions.

In-person sessions are planned and will be introduced in the near future.

5. Pediatric Music Therapy & Family Care

For music therapy sessions involving minors or specially abled children, consultation requests must be submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or designated primary caregiver.

Parents or guardians are welcome to attend and participate in virtual sessions to support their child's comfort, sensory safety, and emotional reassurance.

6. Your Rights & Record Requests

You retain full control over your personal information. At any point, you may:

  • Request a review of the contact details and appointment history we maintain for your care.
  • Request corrections or updates to your contact records.
